Disclosure Policy

This week we interrupt normal service, just briefly, as I bring you my disclosure policy.

Huh… that sounds like fun, I hear you say.

I know, if you came here looking for all things respectful parenting, natural learning, home ed and intentional living, you might be wondering what’s going on.

These aren’t the droids you’re looking for.

Ben Kenobi. Star Wars : Episode IV – A New Hope.

And I get it.

Who wants to read a stuffy old disclosure policy?

As you know we’re all about taking a kinder path here, and whenever I post on this blog, I want to support and inspire you on your kindness journey. So, I’ll try to be as unstuffy as I can.

With great blogging, comes great responsibility πŸ˜‰ And a few legal requirements I don’t want to get on the wrong side of.

But while I’m at it, I want to bring you some value too.

Parents who want to earn some extra money while staying home with your family and my fellow bloggers, aspiring or established, this one’s especially for you πŸ™‚

Some of the links included in this post may be affiliate links, meaning if you click through and decide to buy there’s a chance I could earn a small commission from the sale, at no extra cost to you. I am super picky about the links on my site and only share resources I believe will bring value to your life, most of which I personally use and love. Thanks in advance if you follow any of my links, I hope you find them helpful.

You might’ve seen this text on my recent blog posts and I wanted to share a little more about what this means.

Please note this disclosure policy applies to all the content I create, including my social media posts. You can find me –

On my blog, takingakinderpath.com

On Instagram, @takingakinderpath

And on, Pinterest, @takingakinderpath

I’ve been a parent for over twenty years now, and home-edding for over half that time. I’m now a hugely grateful mama of 4 beautiful young people. And kindness is a core element of my parenting and educational philosophies.

I love writing about respectful parenting and home education. And I’m a passionate advocate of them both.

Not only do I believe that our personal and family lives can be utterly transformed when we follow these paths. But I see unparalleled benefits for the whole of human society and our planet too.

Kindness is a superpower and the more we nurture kindness in our homes and our lives, the more peace and joy we spread in the world. The gentle ripples we send out have the potential to make powerful waves across the world. Let’s make them as kind as we can, as often as we can πŸ™‚

I started writing blog posts to share the ideas and resources that were helping me take a kinder path in my life, for my family.

And while I continue to keep working on myself, learning and living this kinder path. My prime motivation for this blog is YOU. Or more accurately your children. Now that sounds a bit creepy πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ.

I want the world to be a better place for all our children. To encourage respect for children’s rights and to spread kindness and peace so our children grow up in an altogether kinder world.

So, what is it I’m disclosing?

Whenever you read my content and come across a link to another site, it may be an affiliate link.

Affiliate links are personalised links that take you to other people’s content. Here you may have an option to buy resources, services or products. And if you make a purchase, I may receive a percentage of the sale, at no extra cost to you.

Most of the links I share are not affiliate links. I’m so enthusiastic to share what I’ve found, I’m gonna do that, affiliate link or not. But hey, when I have the chance to share what I love and get rewards for my recommendations, I’m all over that πŸ™‚

So what does this mean?

For you…

You get to hear all about resources and products I love and think you will too. Please know that I only recommend services I believe could benefit you and your family, most of which I personally use.

I will always share my honest opinions and let you know if I’ve been given any items free or paid to review.

You pay no extra for following my links, and sometimes you even get access to special deals and discounts. I’ll pass on early and extended access notifications and any special offers I get to hear about.

You are free to ignore all links, or type website addresses manually. You are under no obligation to purchase anything.

For me…

I get to share what I love, promoting products and services I believe are making the world a kinder place. And get rewarded for doing so.

I want to be there for my family. And I want to be there for you. And that means securing a good financial basis for the future. This is a tiny step in the right direction.

If you’d like in on the action, keep reading for more information on how you can get your own affiliate links πŸ™‚

Whenever you read my posts, I’m chuffed to bits. So glad you’re here and we’re taking this kinder path together.

If you follow any of my links, I hope you find them helpful and interesting.

And if you do choose to make a purchase through a link in my content, know I’m super-grateful and probably dancing round my kitchen in delight. Thank you x
